We sat down with Shola for a Q&A where she shares more about the role, and what she wants you to know about what makes the Incompass AFC program so special.
Q: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Shola Ojudun, program manager for the Adult Family Care Program. I am a diligent professional with over 30 years of experience in the Human Services field. I am a proud mother who loves to travel and explore the world with family.
Q: What does your role as AFC Program Manager involve?
As the Adult Family Care Program Manager my role is to ensure quality care for vulnerable adults and children with disabilities in a home-like environment. My responsibilities generally include a mix of administrative, supervisory, and direct support duties. Including, support responsibilities, oversight, compliance, and monitoring caregivers and homes. Advocacy is also an essential part of my role.
Q: What excites you most about working at Incompass?
What excited me most about working at Incompass, is that the companies’ values align with my own – compassion, respect, and integrity. I feel proud to be part of an organization that truly puts people first.
I am also excited that my work directly improves the quality of life for those who need extra support while also empowering them to live with dignity and independence.
Q: Any final thoughts?
AFC is a program that fosters caring for loved ones in the comfort of their home with family members being able to provide the care and facilitate services that are needed is a great opportunity.
