Month-Long “Days of Giving” Fundraising Campaign

Month-Long “Days of Giving” Fundraising Campaign

We are so excited to host our third annual “Days of Giving” campaign!

All proceeds raised through the “Days of Giving” campaign will help fund the programs and services that we provide to the Incompass community. Our portfolio of programs supports those with intellectual/developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries as well as their families and caregivers. We’d love for you to donate to these causes, but there’s another way you can be involved…by becoming a Care Champion Fundraiser!

Incompass relies on the generosity of our community to help us achieve our mission to empower the people we serve in Greater Lowell and Greater Lawrence to live full lives. At the end of the day, we’re all care champions!

Incompass Human Services Welcomes Brad MacDougall as New Chair of the Board of Directors and Appoints Carolyn Dunn to the Board

Brad MacDougall, new Board Chair

Incompass Human Services, a founding affiliate of the New England Human Services Collaborative (NEHSCO), is proud to announce Brad MacDougall as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. The organization also warmly welcomes Carolyn Dunn as a new member of the Board.

Brad MacDougall, who has been a member of the Board of Directors for four years, succeeds Timothy Allen, who has been designated as Emeritus Chair of the Incompass Board of Directors. Allen will continue his invaluable service as Chair of the Board of the New England Human Services Collaborative.

MacDougall’s role as the Director of Consulting Services New England at CGI, combined with his extensive experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors that includes a fourteen year tenure as a vice president of government affairs at Associated Industries of Massachusetts, makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead the board.

“I am truly honored to serve as the Chair of the Board of Incompass Human Services,” said MacDougall. “It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I take on this role, and I want to express my deep appreciation for the dedication and support of the entire Incompass community. Together, we will continue to create a positive impact and empower individuals to live fulfilling lives.”

In addition, Carolyn Dunn joins the board, bringing 25 years of dedicated service in human services, particularly in residential programs and hospice care. Her extensive experience as a National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and her proactive role in developing solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services are invaluable to Incompass Human Services.

Incompass CEO Jean Phelps presented Emeritus Chair Tim Allen with a plaque recognizing his years of service as Board Chair at a recent Board of Directors meeting.

Jean Phelps, CEO of Incompass Human Services, expressed her enthusiasm about these appointments. “We are thrilled to welcome Brad MacDougall as our new Chair of the Board of Directors and Carolyn Dunn as a new board member. Brad’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in our board’s success, and we are excited to see him step into this new role. Carolyn’s vast experience and dedication to human services make her a perfect fit for our team. Together, their contributions will undoubtedly steer Incompass towards a future rooted in growth and innovation.”

The Board appointments are pivotal for Incompass Human Services as the organization continues to expand its reach and impact in the community. With a new strategic plan in place, their combined expertise and commitment to service will play a critical role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and enhancing its mission.

Incompass Human Services Releases Their FY 2024-2028 Strategic Plan

Incompass Human Services Releases Their FY 2024-2028 Strategic Plan

As we embark on the next chapter with our FY24-28 Strategic Plan, our first as an affiliate of the New England Human Services Collaborative (NEHSCO), we are reminded of our profound commitment to our foundational mission. Care Champions enable those people we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries to thrive to their fullest potential, ensuring they not only find a place in our community but truly thrive within it. We continue to work towards our Incompass2030 vision rooted in enhancing our ability to provide critical and innovative support to the people we serve. We are heartened by the strides we’ve made, and excited that the coming half-decade is not just about continuity; it’s about transformative growth. As the landscape of human services evolves, so must we, ensuring that innovation is at the forefront, our workforce feels invested in and valued, and our services and supports are broadened to cater to the multifaceted needs of those we serve.

And that’s what you’ll find in the strategic plan – bold initiatives indicative of a relentless pursuit to empower these individuals and their caregivers. We are charting an ambitious path to scale our agency as a part of NEHSCO, and central to this growth is our dedication to investing in our Care Champion workforce. Recognizing their pivotal role, we aim to foster an environment of continuous learning, engagement, and palpable career growth opportunities. Parallelly, we are on a quest to invigorate our Board of Directors by onboarding even more experienced leaders whose unique skillsets align with and amplify our strategic objectives. And as we grow, we are committed to maintaining operational and administrative excellence, using data-driven methods to ensure that our expansion is matched by the resources and efficiency required to uphold and further our mission.
