Leaders from across the country gathered this month for The Arc’s Summer Leadership Institute, a three-day conference focused on tackling the most pressing challenges, and opportunities facing the human services field. Incompass Human Services was proud to be in the room, represented by CEO Jean Phelps and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer Michael Bloom.
In addition to attending sessions and engaging with fellow changemakers, Jean played a leading role in the week’s programming. On the final day of the event, she partnered with Eric Curtis of Curtis Strategy to deliver a packed workshop titled “Sustainable Leadership in Turbulent Times.” Together, they explored how value-driven leadership, intentional strategy, and a strong organizational culture can empower human services organizations to thrive during times of change.
The session was a powerful close to a meaningful week of learning, collaboration, and connection. Jean looks forward to bringing the insights and energy from the conference back to the team at Incompass, because when every conversation matters, you show up ready to lead.
