Overview
As part of our commitment to supporting caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we are excited to introduce our Community Respite Provider offering. This unique service is part of our residential shared living program, where we have partnered with members of the community who are willing to open their homes and hearts to individuals in need of respite care.
This innovative program is supported by a grant from the state’s Department of Developmental Services, and is one of the only of its kind in the state!

We have carefully recruited and vetted compassionate members of the community who are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These community caregivers are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Local Residences
Each individual’s needs are unique, and we ensure that the community caregiver’s residence is a suitable match for the specific requirements of the individuals staying with them. Whether it’s accessibility needs, specialized equipment, or dietary considerations, we work closely with our community caregivers to create a comfortable and accommodating environment.
Comprehensive Support
Our community caregivers are not alone in this journey. They are supported by our team of Incompass Care Champions, which includes nurses, clinical staff, and MAP-certified direct support professionals. This collaborative approach ensures that the highest level of care is provided to the individuals staying with our community caregivers.
Flexible Stays
We understand that caregivers have diverse needs and varying schedules. Stays at our Community Respite Provider homes can range from one day to one month, depending on the needs of the caregiver and the availability of the Incompass provider.

Interested in Becoming a Community Provider?
We’re actively recruiting members of the community to join our growing respite provider program. Qualified providers can earn up to $10,000 per year depending on the level of engagement in the program. You’ll receive the support of the Incompass staff while you’re hosting an individual with a disability, and there are no ownership requirements to be a member of the program.
