This is an agency powered by Care Champions.
It’s not about one person; it’s about a team of people committed to our mission of empowering the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities we serve. In case you haven’t figured it out by now, we love what we do! And we love talking to people like you about what we do!
The Incompass Care Champion CareCast
Meet Heather, a mom to a one-year old who loves Marvel movies and working in human services.
Meet Shawn, an avid gamer and cat lover who oversees all of our day programs.
Meet Kat, she’s an avid traveler (well, in non-pandemic times) and when she is not managing Human Resources, she is cooking or crafting something beautiful.
Meet Jacquline, a CNA who appreciates the little things that make a big difference.
Meet Barbara, who puts the importance of COVID-19 precautions in perspective for all of us.
People have a lot of heart in what they do here, and that’s the reason they stay here.
Our Head Care Champion
Jean Phelps, CEO of Incompass Human Services, has more than 30 years of experience in our field. She’s been the CEO of our agency for over a decade, when we were known as LifeLinks, Inc. Now she’s affectionately known as the head Care Champion, but if you ask her she’ll tell you she’s the “least important person at our agency.”
Jean’s been quoted in the Lowell Sun, Vox, Eagle Tribune, and Merrimack Valley Magazine, and has served as a speaker at numerous national conferences around the country. She’s even been honored by the Arc of Massachusetts for her work in opening doors for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
One of Jean’s foundational leadership principles is transparency. So she shares a lot with us. No seriously, we hear from her pretty regularly. She even has a blog!
