Incompass Human Services Direct of Family and Community Supports Kelly Trickett sits down with Chief Communications Officer Dan Esdale to discuss the transition process in place for families currently served by the Family Support Center. Kelly touches on some frequently asked questions, a new web resource, and an upcoming joint webinar with Seven Hills Family Support Center.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the last day that I can send receipts to Incompass?
Any outstanding receipts/invoices for purchases made on or before January 31, 2021, will need to be submitted to Incompass Human Services by January 29, 2021.
Can I just use all my stipend now, so I don't have to worry about things getting lost in transition?
We are putting together a process with Seven Hills to ensure that things are not lost in transition. Please refer to the question above regarding the process for submitting receipts.
Will I still be able to contact Family Support staff that I know at Incompass?
After February 1, 2020, any inquiries regarding the following should be directed to Seven Hills:
- stipend money
- navigation
- Center related services such as trainings and programming
Families who receive the following services from the Incompass family support team will not be impacted by the change:
- Medically Complex Care
- Individualized Home Services
- DESE
- Agency with Choice
Individuals enrolled in day, employment, or residential programs with Incompass will still be enrolled in those programs; this decision does not impact programs outside of the Family Support Center.
When will someone from Seven Hills reach out to me?
A virtual event with Incompass and Seven Hills is in the works, set to take place in January. This will give us the opportunity to introduce Seven Hills, share more detailed information, and allow you to ask any questions you have. Information on this event coming soon.

We hope you enjoyed the webinar last week! It was so great to connect with you, and the team is so glad you came with some very thoughtful questions! This week, we’re excited to co-host our webinar with the Seven Hills Family Support Center – and I have details on that below. We really are dedicated to making this as smooth of a transition for all of you as possible – because at the end of the day, it’s all about you!

Message to Families from Kelly Trickett - January 11, 2021
Dear Incompass families,
By now, our team has been in touch with almost all of you individually regarding the transition of the Greater Lowell Family Support Center to Seven Hills, and most importantly what it means for you. The change is effective on February 1, and we will be laser focused on answering all of your questions and making this as seamless an exercise as possible over the next three weeks. I’ve been in regular contact with DDS and the team at Seven Hills, and they too want to welcome you all with open arms and few headaches.
As part of this effort, we will be sending an email overview to you every Monday in January with key updates and opportunities to engage with both the Incompass and Seven Hills teams.

🎤📱 A Podcast For Incompass Families! I recorded a 15-minute podcast with our communications person Dan Esdale to speak directly to you, our Incompass families. Over the course of 15 minutes, I addressed a lot of questions that I’ve been asked over the past two weeks, including:
- Why is this change being made?
- What does this change mean for the families supported by the Family Support Center?
- What can I expect over these next three weeks?
- Where do I got get my questions answered?

We’ve been sharing our favorite memories as a team in our regular Zoom meetings, and it’s really put a smile on our face! You’ll be in good hands at Seven Hills, but for those families who won’t be served by Incompass after February 1 know that we are going to miss you terribly.
